I love all of these candles and have given them as presents for my closest friends. They say they are the best candles ever. The fill the entire room even when not lit. Love the Christmas special blends, they make you feel like you are in front of the fireplace.
The description and the packaging are right up my alley and it does smell beautiful but in my opinion it’s not strong enough. I can’t smell it unlit, I can’t smell it lit, the only way I can smell it is if I pick it up and bring it to my nose. I like my candles to smack me in the face with fragrance like the ones from Bath and Body Works, unfortunately this does nothing for me. It’s a nice piece of decor but too pricey for such a weak scent. I would’ve rated higher if the fragrance was stronger.
By the Fireplace was the first ever candle I purchased from Blanc and Nero and after purchasing most of the range it still remains a favourite today. I love the rich warm smokey fragrance. It's a truly beautiful scent, cosy and comforting. Gorgeous packaging and a long lasting scent throw.
